Less than a day after posting its kernel source, Samsung has announced that the LTE-enabled Galaxy S4 Zoom is now available commercially in Europe, and will soon be making its way to the UK. The LTE model supports multi-band 4G, and will be compatible with both old and new 4G networks thanks to its support for six different bands.

"The introduction of LTE capabilities to the Galaxy S4 Zoom demonstrates our commitment to providing customers with the best possible product on the market," said Simon Stanford, vice president of the IT and mobile division at Samsung UK. "Today's consumers place great importance on being connected with their world, a need that is catered for with the LTE technology. It's powerful, stylish and is perfect for those who want to take outstanding pictures from a device that's always with them and then share them immediately and easily."

The specs of the device remain the same as before, mainly a 1.5GHz-dual-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD (960 x 540) screen, 8GB of storage and a microSD slot, Wi-Fi, HSPA, Bluetooth, and NFC connectivity, a 2,330mAh battery, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Its main feature, the protruding camera on the back (or front?), will still take 16-megapixel photos, and includes a 10x optical zoom lens, image stabilization, Xenon Flash, and lots of camera modes accessible via the Zoom Ring.
