It was said that the Note III won't be much bigger than the Note II, and now an image comparing the display frames of the two devices side by side backs up that claim. The image has been manually constructed, but it does give us a good idea of the differences and similarities between the two devices.

As you can see, the new Note's display frame seems to be just a tad taller than the Note II's, but when it comes to the width, both seem to be the same. Samsung has achieved this by reducing the bezel around the display to just 2.2mm, so handling the next-generation Note should be similar to the Note II (no, you still won't be able to drag down that status bar in one-hand usage).

Well, provided that display frame in the images really does belong to the Galaxy Note III. It most likely does, but better to be skeptical until official confirmation comes along.

As the name goes, Galaxy S4 mini is a miniature version of the Galaxy S4 with the same looks and hardware (except for the display and battery) comparable to the Galaxy Mega 6.3. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 400 dual-core 1.7GHz processor, 1.5GB RAM and sports a 4.3-inch qHD resolution display, 8MP camera, 1900mAh battery.

The phone runs Android 4.2.2 OS, new TouchWiz UI and features like Sound & Shot, Group Play, WatchON etc.

Galaxy S4 mini will sell for 550,000 won in black or white and to celebrate the release, KT will offer customers a discount on Galaxy S4 mini's S View Cover or Battery Pack.

Well, you can swap it with a designer battery cover provided you reside in Hungary. The cover you're seeing below is designed by Sandra Sándor, who is the head designer of the fashion label Nanushka. These uniquely designed covers will be available in stores and will cost about HUF 5990 or about USD 27.

Furthermore, in mid-September Samsung also plans to release a design tool on their Facebook page that will allow users to customise battery covers for older devices and will sell for HUF 7200 to up to 8500 depending on the model.

According to the website, the display size measures at 5.68-inches, which is the size we'd had confirmed earlier along with other specs. Compared to the Note 2, the screen has a few changes. The sides of the screen are more like the S4 (which isn't surprising), and the border is slimmer at 2.2mm. The total thickness of the display is apparently also really thin, at 1.8mm, so overall this shouldn't be much larger than last year's Note.

I would love to tell you that it's possible that display panel is from a prototype Note III that Samsung is using to hide the real design, but I guess that would be a lie. Samsung is most likely going ahead with the same look on the Note III as the S4 and last year's devices, and it's just over a week left before we get to take an official look at it.

Galaxy Tab 3 Kids aims to make learning more fun with features tailored for kids. While the tablet is essentially Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 when it comes to hardware, the Galaxy Tab 3 Kids is pre-loaded with a brand new Kid's Store and content ranging from educational, games, entertainment and e-book apps. The tablet also gives parents the liberty what apps they want their kids to have access to, Time Management which automatically password protects the tablet after a specific time period and a case that offers a better grip, multiple standing options and C Pen, which is a kid-friendly pen to doodle on the tablet.

Galaxy Tab 3 Kids' hardware includes 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB memory, 3 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Full HD video playback and 4000mAh battery.

Samsung will release the tablet first in its home market as expected followed by other regions.

Sure, there's no way to know it but SonnyDickson.com seems to have gotten some images from their "trusted source" in China who claims these belong to the Galaxy Note III. The panel marks Samsung Display's logo and a Synaptics chip, suggesting the device will use a Synaptics touch sensor.

There's no info on the size of the display but going by the previous information, we expect it to be 5.68-inch with a full HD resolution support.

Samsung's executive today confirmed that the Galaxy Note III and Galaxy Gear will be announced at the September 4 event in Berlin, Germany before IFA.

Well, you have it now, straight from the executive vice president of Samsung's mobile business, Lee Young-hee, who also confirmed that the Galaxy Gear won't have a flexible display and will run on Android.

That's all the executive confirmed, but previous rumors already tell us what to expect from both devices. The Galaxy Gear will come in multiple colors, pair with Samsung's smartphones through Bluetooth and NFC, include a lot of sensors for use in applications like health tracking, and launch sometime in October.

As for the Galaxy Note III, the 5.68-inch phablet will sport a 1080p Super AMOLED display, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 or octa-core Exynos 5420 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a microSD slot, 13-megapixel rear camera, a 3,200mAh battery, and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. An S Pen will be included for pen input, and the device will start shipping in September.

So, just a week to go before Samsung unveils its next hero devices. Here's hoping we're greeted with awesomeness.

When it comes to display makers, the recent trend of larger displays will be a huge advantage this year, as their revenues are set to rise by 55 percent.

A DigiTimes report touts the Galaxy S4 as one of the handsets that are part of the reason for the increased revenues, along with Apple's iPhone 5. The S4′s display went up 0.2-inches from the S3′s and also saw a veritable increase in display resolution – coupled with the average selling price of an AMOLED screen rising from $48.36 in 2012 to $49.37 in 2013, it's something that is proving profitable for display makers. By the end of the year, AMOLED screens will have taken 37 percent of the total market, and the Galaxy Note III will no doubt contribute to that share.

In addition to South Korea and USA, countries like Germany, England, France, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium and Italy will receive Samsung's flagship TV in the coming weeks. Samsung has also kicked off some marketing initiatives for Europe and will showcase the TV in Samsung Branded Store in Frankfurt, Germany and Vienna Albertina Muesem in Austria.

Samsung also gave away the first Curved OLED TV in Europe to FC Bayern Munich on the eve of 50th anniversary of German football league 'Bundesliga'.

The Curved OLED TV boasts impressive picture quality with good colour reproduction and deep blacks. The TV supports 1080p Full HD resolution, 3D support, Smart Hub, MultiView, Evolution Kit and 'Timeless Arena' design where the display is placed in a frame, thus giving a floating dipslay-like effect.

The Curved OLED TV will sell for 7,999 euros.

That's where extended batteries and battery packs come in, and now Galaxy S4 owners can extend their phone's battery life with the Mophie Juice Pack.

The Mophie Juice Pack is basically a case with an inbuilt battery, which charges your phone to extend its usage times. The S4 Juice Pack comes with a 2,300mAh battery (~80% of the standard S4 battery), and will add 13 hours of talk time, 6 hours of browsing, 35 hours of audio playback and 7 hours of video playback to the phone. A 4 LED indicator gives you the status of the battery, and the phone can be charged and synced without having to take it out of the case.
