It was only last month that Samsung announced the dual-mode LTE-enabled variants of the Galaxy S4 and S4 mini, and today Australian carrier Optus has announced that it will be offering both the dual-mode LTE phones to consumers, in a bid to let them access its newly launched TDD/FDD-LTE network. As the network supports both FDD and TDD-LTE standards, users will be able to access Optus' 4G networks in more places.

Apart from better support for the carrier's LTE network, the specs of both devices remain the same. The Galaxy S4 mini is available now, while the dual LTE Galaxy S4 will be available from mid-September. Hit the source link for details on pricing on both devices, and let us know if you're planning on upgrading to the dual LTE models in the future.
