Samsung is looking towards new avenues for strengthening its hold on the enterprise market. After developing the well-received KNOX security suite, the Korean company is reportedly working on creating personalized smartphones for corporate professionals. "We are actively approaching companies which have big distribution channels like FedEX, Pepsi and Coca-Cola. Simply put, delivery systems in those companies could be effectively controlled by our customized devices," said one Samsung official in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, where Samsung's main technology compound is located.

Samsung didn't exactly say how these devices will be customized, though there's a hint of personalized hardware specs and features from the report. Samsung believes it's a necessary step in order to increase their presence in the enterprise market, even with sales of its smartphones going strong otherwise. "That's why Samsung is spending more efforts on developing smartphones for corporate clients. And we are seeking partnerships with global players, such as FedEX, Pepsi and Coca-Cola to raise our leverage in the lucrative B2B sector," another official said.
