Galaxy Gear was compatible with the Galaxy Note 3 but Samsung has now confirmed the compatibility with eight new devices. We knew Galaxy S4, Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II will support the smartwatch after an Android 4.3 update but Samsung has also added Samsung Galaxy S4 mini, S4 Active, Mega 5.8, Mega 6.3, and S4 zoom to the compatibility roster.
The new devices will support the Galaxy Gear after a software update but it's unclear if it will upgrade the OS to v4.3.
