Samsung has announced that it has added support for multiple new services from various partners in its Wallet app (which lets users store and manage tickets, coupons, boarding passes, and membership cards, but doesn't let them make payments like services like Google Wallet). New partners include American Express, United Airlines, Virgin Atlantic, Malaysia Airlines, Amtrak, Valpak, eGifter, Gyft, Yowza, SpotOn, Agoda, HRS, Opodo and Thrillcall.

However, what hasn't changed is the availability of Samsung Wallet service – it still seems to be exclusive to South Korean users, so this update will likely be useless for most people. Samsung is looking to extend support through new partners and merchants with the Wallet Open API, but it will probably be a while before it can match the reach of competing services.

Grab the updated app from the Play Store.
