Samsung may be readying up for a profitable time in the coming months as it launches both the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear, but for investors, good sales and share prices are important all around the year. However, mainly due to disappointing sales of the Galaxy S4, the South Korean manufacturer's shares have fallen 13% since April, and to address the concerns of investors, Samsung will be holding a strategic conference in November.

This is the first major strategy conference Samsung has held in years, and the company plans to invite more than 400 investors and analysts in order to discuss future plans. The November event will be the first of its kind since Sang-Hoon Lee took over as president of Samsung Electronics, and will see Samsung discussing its long-term business plan, strategy and vision for 2020 with attendees.
