Forget the iPhone 5s Gold, Samsung wants you to buy its golden Galaxy S4

When the newest iPhone comes in gold, you can't expect Samsung to just sit on the sidelines and watch, can you? In a somewhat shameless and direct act of inspiration, Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy S4 Gold Edition. Tweeted by Samsung's Middle East social accounts, the gold-colored Galaxy S4 comes in two variants – Gold Pink and Gold Brown, with each having a shiny golden back plate to contrast with the pink and brown coloring on the front.

The hardware remains the same as the standard Galaxy S4, and while there's no info on how much the golden variant will cost and where it will be launched, it will likely be a limited release and attract only the rich oil barons, businessmen, and those who have less sense than a newborn baby.

Any bets on what Samsung will come up with next in its eternal goal to be as similar to Apple as possible?
