Australian carriers Telstra and Optus have, at long last, put up the Galaxy S4 mini up for pre-order, weeks after announcing they would be carrying the device. Emails are now going out informing users about the pre-order, and both carriers will be offering the dual-mode LTE variants, which support all types of LTE networks around the world. Telstra is also giving a free Fitbit Flex along with the phone, which should be good for complementing the health-related functions on the handset (S Health).

The Galaxy S4 mini sports a 4.3-inch screen of not-so-great qHD (540 x 960) resolution, dual-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1.5GB RAM, 8-megapixel and 1.9-megapixel rear and front cameras, 8/16GB of storage and a microSD slot, Wi-Fi, HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, and LTE connectivity, a 1,900mAh battery, and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with features like Smart Stay, Smart Pause, S Voice, S Travel, and more.

Optus doesn't seem to have a link up for pre-ordering yet, but you can place an order on Telstra if you're interested, at this link (the Flexi is included for pre-orders before September 17th). Any of our Australian readers looking to pick up the mini S4?
