The launch of the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear is going to be a gargantuan affair, as Samsung is preparing to launch the two devices on the same day in no less than 149 countries. Samsung hasn't revealed which countries those are going to be, but Netherlands has been confirmed to be one of the 149, according to Samsung Netherlands Marketing Manager Benelux Geert Mol, who revealed the info in an interview at the IFA.

The Galaxy Note 3 sports a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, 1.9GHz Exynos octa-core / 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32 and 64GB storage options along with a microSD slot, 13-megapixel camera that can record Ultra HD (4K) video, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, HSPA, LTE, and USB 3.0 connectivity, a 3,200mAh battery, and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, with an array of new software features and an improved S Pen to go along. Pricing remains unannounced, though it might cost 939 CHF (~ 769 Euros) in Switzerland.

The Galaxy Gear acts as a companion to the Galaxy Note 3, and sports a 1.63″ Super AMOLED display, 1.9-megapixel camera with 1080p video recording, single-core 800MHz Exynos processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB storage, a 315mAh battery, and Bluetooth and NFC connectivity. It can initiate calls, read messages and emails, track health-related activities, has S Voice built-in for creating alarms, loading apps, writing messages, and more, comes in a wide variety of colors, and will cost $299 at launch.
