Given comments and reactions from our readers as well as consumers, Galaxy Gear seems to have received a mixed bag of reception. And if you disliked the first iteration of Galaxy Gear, Samsung confirms to bring many new variants that will suit your needs. Samsung confirmed to Slashgear that its companion device will come various price points and sizes to suit majority of customers.

According to the company, Galaxy Gear will work as a "sub-brand" similar to what we have for Android devices with the Galaxy line of smartphones and tablets.

Samsung recently released the pricing of the Galaxy Gear and it won't go for cheap. Expected price is at $299.99 in US, which means it will be priced similarly in other markets as well.

Galaxy Gear will be released along with the Galaxy Note 3 on September 25 and features a single-core 800MHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB storage, and a 315mAh battery, Bluetooth 4.3 LE, a gyroscope and accelerometer. The watch also supports apps via Samsung Apps, Smart Relay, S Voice.
