Taking the Twitter route, AT&T has announced that it will be taking pre-orders for Samsung's Galaxy Gear, the companion smartwatch for the Galaxy Note 3, from tomorrow, September 17, at 12:01AM ET. No release date or pricing was mentioned, but the standard $299.99 price should apply (without contract) and it should launch soon after the Galaxy Note 3 in early October, pre-orders for which were already started by the carrier a few days back.
