QWERTY-equipped smartphones may not be a common sight any more, but feature phones are still keeping the tradition alive in many parts of the world. Soon, U.S. carrier MetroPCS will offer the Samsung Freeform M, a 2.4-inch feature phone that comes with a QWERTY keyboard and is a successor to the Freeform III, with support for T-Mobile's GSM network.

The display has a 240 x 320 pixels resolution, and other specs include a 2-megapixel camera (with features such as Panorama, Smile Shot and Mosaic), up to 32GB storage via microSD cards, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS connectivity, and a 1,000mAh battery. The Freeform M also supports voice commands.

Pricing or availability are currently unavailable, but the Freeform M should go up for order from MetroPCS in the coming days. We'll be sure to let you know when that happens; in the meantime, hit the source link for more details on the device.
