Ready for the next hype? Samsung wants to bring their own ROLEX! They confirmed a new Android smart watch few months back and now they've applied for a trademark on name "GEAR". According to Phandroid, this is an upcoming product by Samsung and the trademark suggests, it is a kind of armband that could connect with a smartphone or tablet. When will Samsung unveil its own smart watch is still a question but Samsung probably wants to see other smart watches before entering the market with their own. Lets hope Samsung´s flexible OLED panels are ready for this!

Will you buy a smart watch? Or will you stay classic and buy a ROLEX!

PS: Samsung isn't the only OEM which want to bring a smartwatch. Apple, LG and Sony are already busy with this.

Samsung has sold over 20 million Galaxy S4 units (supply basis) in a span of two months. The figure was apparently confirmed by JK Shin to Korean reporters and will help refute the speculation about lower-than-expected sales of Galaxy S4.

The phone went on sale in late April and reached the milestone by end of June. In comparison, Galaxy S III took 100 days to reach the same 20 million mark.

As for the sales in Korea, Samsung has managed to sell 500,000 units.

Samsung has delayed their first TIZEN OS device. The first TIZEN device that was expected this quarter has most likely been delayed. The delayed launch seems to be due to a development issue for the app store and will see the official launch in around Q4 2013. The announcement though, could come at IFA 2013 that takes place in Berlin in September. Samsung is enjoying a healthy lead in the mobile industry with their Galaxy smartphones and will be interesting to see how Samsung will place its TIZEN range.
